Status: on the roadmap — project time runs in Accounts today

Nothing on this page is a product you can sign in to. Accounts already carries projects and time: hours logged against a project, an unbilled‑hours position on the project, and invoicing straight from it — see the Accounts overview. This page describes the intended scope of a dedicated Projects product.

Intended scope

• Projects — a body of work for a customer.
• Tasks — the steps, with owners, due dates and status.
• Time entries — hours logged against tasks, billable or not.

The part Accounts does not cover is the delivery work itself: breaking a project into tasks, tracking them to completion, and tying that plan to the customer record in CRM. Time capture and billing already exist; task management is what a Projects product adds.

Connects to

• Accounts — where project time and unbilled hours are recorded today, and where billable time becomes an invoice.
• CRM — projects belong to the customer account.
• CPQ — the other place an invoice is raised today.
