Quickstart — lead to paid invoice
This quickstart follows a single customer across four modules to show how the suite connects. It assumes you have a workspace (see Getting started).
1. Capture a lead (CRM)
Section titled “1. Capture a lead (CRM)”In CRM → Leads, create a lead for Acme Corp. Qualify and convert it — this creates an account, a contact and a deal, all linked.
2. Build a quote (CPQ)
Section titled “2. Build a quote (CPQ)”From the deal, create a quote in CPQ. Add products from your price book, apply a discount, and send it for approval. Once approved, share it for e‑signature.
3. Invoice the customer (Billing)
Section titled “3. Invoice the customer (Billing)”When the quote is accepted, raise an invoice in Billing against the same account. Record the payment when it arrives.
4. See the books update (Accounts)
Section titled “4. See the books update (Accounts)”The invoice and payment post automatically to the general ledger in Accounts. Open the trial balance or P&L — the numbers already reflect the sale, with no re‑keying.
